Our 4th Annual Strawberry Fest is June 30 – Save the Date! 

We’re planning another fabulously fun day in Maxwell’s Strawberry Fields again this June 30, from 10 – 4, on Two Lights Rd. (Though this year we have a very special treat – hot air balloon rides!  And those are starting early, 9 – 11. Thank you ReMax for making this happen!)  We’ll have music all day, great local food, crafts and fun for the kids, artisan vendors, and agricultural demonstrations and information to share. As always, no entry fee, so bring the whole family.

Friday night, June 29, plan to bring just the grown-ups for an out-of-this-world feast at Shady Oak Farm on Fowler Rd.  Locally raised and roasted pig, fresh caught lobsters baked before your eyes, accompanied by all the fixings. And of course we’ll have music and a silent auction – with uniquely Cape items.  Space is limited at our feast, so look to buy tickets ahead of time (only) at Jordan’s Farm Market and Alewive’s Brook Farm.

And look for special events that weekend at our many farms and at businesses and restaurants all over town.
