Farm & Fish to School

The farms and fishermen of Cape Elizabeth know that local schools and families value the health and nutrition benefits of fresh local food.  To that end, we continue to work with local public and private schools whenever possible to help increase the percentage of local ingredients that are used in the preparation of meals and snacks for students here in town.

• We participate in the Maine Harvest Lunch program every fall.
• We are a resource for connecting classes and teachers with farms and agricultural experiences.
• We hope to provide ongoing support and encouragement for any school garden and other farm & fish to school programs as they evolve.
